Iris Loudness (9.3)

Iris Loudness Measurement Output

OUTPUT Loudness Measurements,
In v9, this is configured in Options->Loudness page.
Iris now has arbitrary loudness measurement blocks that you can assign with a start channel number.
So if your file has six channels of 5.1, you can add a measurement block like below:

You can add more than 1 since you may have tracks and channels like 5.1,
then stereo, then another 5.1 in a different language followed by mono AD service.
After play is restarted, the audio waveform will show the loudness for each block.

The big difference is that the input side is measured on a per TRACK basis.
The output is measured on a channel basis.
An example of this is a file that contains 6 tracks of PCM audio with ONE channel each.
However, they are intended to be used as a group of 5.1.

Iris will not realize that 6 independent tracks and with 6 channels are meant to be measured as 5.1,
so Iris will measure the input as 6 tracks of mono. So to overcome this, you can assign a 5.1 measurement
block on the output and treat output channels 1 to 6 as 5.1,
